We’ve Rebranded!

Well, kinda.

We still build brands, but now build brands strictly through books.

Background

If you’re not familiar with our background, let me give you a little refresher. Studio 8 Twenty-Two started as a healthcare brand and reputation management agency due to my background as a nurse practitioner and brand strategist.

The past year and a half has been crazy in terms of instability for both businesses and employers because of the ongoing pandemic. Businesses have had trouble keeping employees due to the “Great Resignation” and people branching out to do their own thing.

The healthcare industry has been no different.

Due to employers looking to find and keep employees, the budget for things like brand and reputation management went out the window. At this time I’ve decided to go back to what I know best, which is writing.

Building a Brand With a Book

Although I do have an extensive background in nursing, my true passion is as an entrepreneur and I love writing – so much so that I’ve written and published over 30 books since my first one in 2013. (Fun fact: My 16th birthday party was at Barnes and Noble!)

That book catapulted my first business, ReNursing Edu, in ways I couldn’t have imagined. As a matter of fact, I told myself after my first book was published that I was never going to write another book again!

Fast-forward to being well over a year into a pandemic and me really wanting to share with others what writing books has done for my business and what it can do for theirs. This is what led to the rebranding of Studio 8 Twenty-Two.

Our new focus is on non-fiction authors (entrepreneurs included) who would like to create more stability in their brand and business by using their book to sell high-ticket programs (coaching, consulting, courses, etc).

This hyper-focused niche may sound like a complete 180° pivot for Studio 8 Twenty-Two, but it’s not as far-fetched as you’d think.

I know firsthand the struggles of being both an author and an entrepreneur.

As an author, I know how when you release your book to the world you have hopes of it selling well and you bringing in respectable royalties. I know of the disappointment of bad reviews, poor sales, and low rankings on Amazon.

As an entrepreneur, I know how difficult it is to stand out from the crowd, market yourself and make a living doing what you love. I also know how writing books has opened doors in my business allowing me opportunities for more exposure, revenue, and placing me well ahead of my competition.

My passion for writing, entrepreneurship, and branding through books has all manifested in this rebrand.

The Future

Over the next few weeks, you’ll see the changes implemented as far as our visual brand colors, mission, and purpose as a business. My team and I will be making changes on the backend on how we want to be perceived as a company from here on out. You may still see some remnants of our prior focus on healthcare, but we ask that you give us grace while we are in this transition period.

New services and that reflect our niche focus will be coming out in the coming months. Our focus centers around four core aspects: authorship, entrepreneurship, branding, and books.

Right now, we have the Write a Book, Build a Brand program and the Script Your Brand coaching programs that focus on helping authors build more stability in their brand and business.

Stay tuned for the transition to our new focus!
